Marin County Annual Report

2015 is looking to be another fantastic year in Marin County real estate. With mortgage interest rates at (still) unbelievable lows and a high demand for great homes I expect it will be a great year to both buy AND sell. Why both? Selling in a market with more demand than available inventory always keeps sales prices up. And buying in a market with these low interest rates means a great savings on long-term investments. What we really need right now is more inventory and I expect it’s on its way. As with every year we always see an increase in inventory right after the Super Bowl and then it continues until summer time. I expect this year will continue to follow the same trend and I see it evidenced in my own business as well. I am working on a number of great listings to hit the market in the next 30 days and then some.

If you are planning on selling do NOT wait. There is nothing to wait for – the buyers are here NOW and ready to go. Don’t wait for competition to increase. Buyers are chomping at the bit and just dying to see some “good” houses after a long winter. So get in on the action now and you will be happy you did.
