Welcome to the new year! I always love this time of year when the hope for a fresh start and renewed intentions seems to fill the air with a tangible excitement. While many people are thrilled to slam the door on 2025, I am happy to share that last year was one of the most transformative years of my life. With the outside world being so daunting and seemingly out of my control, I decided to double down on what I could control, my own personal growth and development, so I could be the best version of myself. And that’s exactly what I did. I flew across the world to start the year at a solo retreat in Thailand, I attended 2 extremely intense and powerful Tony Robbins events in CA and Florida, enrolled in a coaching program, found an accountability partner, jumped into seminars, and I did whatever I could to make sure I was doing the work on myself first so I could show up as my best for everyone in my life. The lessons I learned, the unraveling of old ways of thinking, a deeper understanding of what is important to me, and the release of a whole lot of old baggage have been life-changing, and I am deeply grateful I honored this commitment to myself.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I want you to know that I AM READY to take this year on by storm. I am rejuvenated, refreshed, and excited to serve you with the best me and my team have to offer. I have sat in on 3 networking groups and two Compass meetings in the past week alone, and 2026 is looking to be a great year in real estate in Marin. The listings are coming, and the buyers are out. With recent rate cuts (the lowest in 2 years!), mortgage brokers are busy, and agents are buzzing me wanting to know what I have coming on the market. With last year coming out pretty flat, it will be really interesting to see where this year goes because demand is high, and I believe the inventory will be plentiful, so we will see where prices land with the spring season approaching.
So, when is the best time to put your house on the market? Honestly, now. In my strong opinion, it’s always best to try to beat the market if the house is ready to go and will show well this time of year. After months of little to no inventory, the buyers are anxious for good inventory, and the rate cut is motivating them. If the thought of selling now seems daunting and too rushed, just give me a call because you would be surprised how quickly my team can jump into place and get a home ready for the market! If now just doesn't seem possible then not to worry, we get amazing results for our Sellers, any time of year.
