The minute a home hits the MLS and gets pushed out to the Zillow and Redfins of the world, I lose control of how my listing and my client's own home is marketed on their platforms - these 3rd parties decide what they want to market, how to market it, and to whom. Very often, they get it entirely wrong and despite trying to get things accurate, they won’t abide. Homes are put in flood zones when they are not, assigned to the wrong school districts, highlight features that are irrelevant instead of ones that are of great value. They decide. Not me, the person who was hired by the homeowner to represent their home… properly.
