Marin County has been named the healthiest county in California! As a local resident, I couldn’t be more grateful to live here. The County Health Rankings gave Marin the #1 spot in health outcomes, health factors, quality of life and life expectancy (85.2 years). It’s no surprise, given our strong sense of community and a lifestyle that naturally promotes well-being.
One of the things I love most about living in Marin is our connection to nature. We’re surrounded by clean air, open space, and stunning coastal beauty, which makes it easy to enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle. Whether it’s hiking on Mount Tamalpais, neighborhood pickleball tournaments, or simply taking in the fresh ocean breeze, being outdoors is a way of life here. We also have some of the best farmers markets in the state, filled with fresh, locally grown produce, artisanal foods, and organic goods that support both our health and local farmers.
What an amazing place to call home! I pinch myself every day. And, here are even more reasons why it’s the best place to live (in my humble opinion)!
